Request access, correction, or deletion

Email support@coldforgeworks.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of BackDoor Map information where applicable. Include the type of request and enough detail for us to understand what records may be involved.

How anonymous records work

BackDoor Map has no user accounts. Contributions are associated with an anonymous installation identifier rather than a public profile. The app does not prominently display raw internal identifiers, and you do not need to locate one before contacting us.

Details that may help us locate a relevant submission include:

• the building address;
• whether the request concerns a pin, vote, correction, reviewer note, or report;
• the approximate date and time of the activity;
• the app platform, version, and build; and
• a description of the submitted location or issue.

We may ask for additional information to avoid changing or disclosing someone else's contribution. Some anonymous records may not be identifiable without sufficient details, and we cannot promise to locate data that cannot reliably be connected to the information provided.

Limits and retention

A request may be limited where records must be retained for fraud prevention, legal compliance, security, vote integrity, or moderation history. Aggregate or anonymized information may remain after a request is completed. We will evaluate requests under applicable law and the circumstances of the record.
