Delete backup account

Effective date: July 18, 2026

Delete your optional email account and its cloud backups without reinstalling the app.

This permanently removes the account and its current and previous cloud backups.
Saved places on your phones and exported files are not deleted.
Community contributions use a separate identity and are not deleted by this process.

Provider recovery copies and required security records may remain separately. See our Privacy Policy and Data Requests.

Online confirmation is not available yet

You can request deletion in the app under App information > Account backup > Delete backup account, or contact support for assistance. Do not send an email code or private backup contents.

Need help?

If you no longer control the email address, contact support@coldforgeworks.com. An unverified message alone cannot authorize deletion of another person's account.
